Micheal “Mike” David Gray
Amory – Micheal “Mike” David Gray, 64, became totally healed on December 2, 2022 and met his Savior face to face. He was born in Tupelo, MS to the late James Oye Gray and Martha Payne Guyton.
Mike attended schools in Amory and went to work at a young age. He had a good work ethic and worked at many places during his lifetime. Mike worked at Poly-Pride, FFM, Inc., and lastly at Sycamore Hills where he worked over 10 years as a fork lift driver. He was a great father, hard worker, a family man who loved them dearly.
A Baptist, Mike believed in God and always tried to help others in need. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and son, fishing, playing with his dog, and tinkering on his truck and other various projects. Some of his close friends were Kenny Stoddard, who was like a brother to him, as well as Victor Barnes. They made many great memories through the years.
Mike enjoyed working on his mother’s old house and restoring it back to its original glory. A fighter, Mike fought many battles with cancer and he won over five different times. His sister helped him on his journey to beat cancer. He had won the last battle yet his family believe God called him home early. They will miss him dearly yet they know that he is at peace.
