– Mary A. Wade, 74, died on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center. Born on April 3, 1937, in Amory, she was a daughter of the late Stanley Harris and Velena Russoe Tate. Mrs. Wade attended Bigbee School. She retired from Day-Brite Industries in Tupelo. Always sharing God’s love, Mrs. Wade loved visiting with her church family. A loving and caring mother, she enjoyed the special bond shared with all her grandchildren, especially her great-granddaughter, MaKenzie. Mrs. Wade enjoyed taking long walks, reading while sitting on the porch, talking on the phone, and Gospel and County music. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1PM, Monday, February 13 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenny Smithey, Robbie Horne, Mike Bell, John Addington, Josh Addington, and Danny Horne. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM, Sunday at the funeral home. She is survived by her daughters, Janice Horne (Robert), Smithville and Darlene Nelson (James), Amory; son, Joseph A. Wade, Jr. (Joe), Amory; brother, Billy Tate, Bigbee; grandchildren, Tammy Smithey, Robbie Horne, Amanda Horne, Jessica Bell, Penny Horne, Alex Wade, Brandon Wade, Brandy Addington, and Josh Addington; great-grandchildren, Paige Horne, MaKayla Horne, Tiffany Smithey, MaKenzie Smithey, Savannah Padfield, A. J. Padfield, Xavier Kelly, Hunter Brown, Stormy Brown, Alex Bell, Dakota Roe, and Wes Addington; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Mark Horne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wade; daughter, Cindy Addington; sisters, Betty Pearson and Fay Ashland; and brothers, Donnie and Tony Tate.
