Mary Dell Tribble, 97, of Amory, MS passed away on July 18, 2017. She was born in Amory, MS on November 23, 1919.
Mary Dell was preceded in death by her mother and father, William P. and Mollie J. Cheek, her sister, Sally Cheek Walsh, 2 brothers, Pete Cheek and Tommy Cheek and her husband of 50 years, Joseph L. Tribble. She graduated from Amory High School and went to work for Arch Dalrymple Offices in Amory. She was a devoted mother and loving wife and she and her husband lived in Oxford, MS, Jackson, MS, Atlanta, GA, Louisville, KY and Greenwood Springs, MS. While living in Atlanta Mrs. Tribble worked for Macy’s and the IRS. Mary Dell had a wonderful sense of humor and loved a good practical joke.
She is survived by sons J. Lee Tribble, Jr. (Peggy) of Atlanta and Jack David Tribble (Kathy) of Birmingham, AL, grandchildren Spence Tribble (Mary Parker) of Jackson, MS, Molly Tribble of Birmingham, a sister-in-law, Betty Webster of Becker, MS, numerous nephews and nieces and a beloved niece, Cathy Smith (Tom) of Auburn, IN.
The family will be forever grateful and blessed to have had the most wonderful caregivers, Sandra and Larry Colburn, who enriched her final years with daily love, security and care.
