Mary Rowan Thomas

Amory—Mary Rowan Thomas of Amory, MS passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Oaktree Manor Assisted Living at the age of 94. She was the wife of Jack Norris Thomas, an Attorney and former Mayor of Amory and was the daughter of Mary Agnew Rowan and Charles Dudley Rowan, former Mayor of Amory. She is survived by her son, Norris D. Thomas of Henderson, Nevada and her sister, Rose Rowan Whitaker of Memphis, Tennessee. She was an accomplished musician and played the piano and pipe organ for the First Baptist Church starting at the age of 16.

The family will have a private service.
