Mary Lou Vaneaton Price

Mary Lou VanEaton Price, 93, a resident of Amory, MS, formerly of Memphis, TN, passed away January 31, 2017, at Oak Tree Manor in Amory, MS. She was born November 21, 1923 in Newbern, Tennessee to Hobert and Annie Lou VanEaton. She was a member of Berclair Church of Christ, Memphis and attended Amory Church of Christ, Amory, MS.
She will be remembered as a feisty, little lady with boundless energy, and a love for growing flowers and traveling.
Survivors include her daughters, Elaine Dinstuhl (Gary) of Sheboygan, WI, and Patty Hawkins (Paul) of Amory, MS; her grandchildren Paul Hawkins II, Amory, MS, Russell Brooks (Angela), Huntsville, AL and Adam Brooks, Freeport, ME; her great-grandchildren, Madison Brooks, Lauren Brooks, Brandon Brooks, Dylan Brooks, and Ashlynn Brooks, Huntsville, AL, Hayden Brooks, Carrollton, TX; her brothers, J.M. VanEaton, Richard Van Eaton (Sandra), her sister Johnnie Davies and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Russell (Bill) Price, her twin sister, Martha Hatfield, her sister Janie Craig and her parents.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis. Funeral services for Mrs. Price will be conducted on Friday, February 3 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Memphis Funeral Home with Brother Jack Inmon officiating.
