Mary Grace Marshall

Mary Grace Marshall, 61, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. Born on August 3, 1957 in Blytheville, Arkansas, she was a daughter of the late Paul Henry and Evelyn Sue Welch. Her family moved to North Oklahoma where she spent her years growing up. She was so proud to tell everyone that she had a Cherokee and Irish heritage.

Mary enjoyed reading and was a big Oklahoma State Cowboys fan. She loved to garden and spent many hours tending to her flowers. She was a collector of birds and angels. Her best companions were her Rottweiler and three huskies.

Mary’s family was her center of life. She married her husband, Troy on October 3, 1973. Taking care of her husband and family was the most important aspect of her life. She left with each of them a legacy of wonderful memories and love.

Mary Marshall is survived by her loving husband, Troy Marshall; Daughters, Christy Ritter (Christopher), Smithville, Susan Marshall, Smithville, Samantha Calvert, Smithville; 5 sisters, 3 brothers; Grandsons, Daniel and Mason Ritter and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Marshall.

At Mary’s request, there will be no services.
