Marion Virginia Webb

Gattman - Marion Virginia Webb, 77, died on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at her residence. Born on June 6, 1937, in Monroe County, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd & Lillie Belle Williams Wise.

Virginia attended Gattman and Greenwood Springs Schools. On April 10, 1958, she married T. L. Webb. After working 27 years with Glenn Manufacturing, she retired to become a homemaker. Guided by her faith to serve and please the Lord, Virginia was a member of DePriest Free Will Baptist Church. A Proverbs 31 lady, she was the best, always happy and unselfish. Virginia cherished time with her family and enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching hummingbirds, collecting arrowheads, riding the roads and Gospel music.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, T. L. Webb, Gattman; daughter, Donna Wileman (Steve), Amory; brother, Gene Wise (Mary), Gattman; grandchildren, Tracy Nethery, Christy Smith, Felecia Reeves, Tyler Dabbs, Keri Lann, and Austin Wileman; great-grandchildren, Kenzie & Hayden Nethery; Lexie, Teri & Dawson Frost; Josh Estes; Kayla Godsey; Shooter Lann; Koda Dabbs; several nieces and nephews; and her dogs, Lady Dog and Momma Dog.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Webb, a sister, and 3 brothers.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday, August 5 at DePriest Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Shake Rag Cemetery, Sulligent. Pallbearers will be Lonnie Green, Joe Mack Easter, Phillip Wise, Jimmy Northington, Larry Smith and Raborn Pennington.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 PM, Monday at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home. She will lie-in-state at the church from 12:15 until the service hour, Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 are requested.
