Amory – Marie W. Randolph, 91, died on, August 9, 2012. Born on March 16, 1921, in Franklin County, AL, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Myrtle Willis Williams. She married Tracy Randolph on December 7, 1940.
Ms. Randolph grew up in the Cason community and attended Pine Grove and Nettleton schools. She was a charter member of both Tupelo and Columbus Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a very devout Christian lady living what she believed. She retired as a Literature Evangelist with Gulf States Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, after 23 years of dedicated service, receiving numerous awards and certificates for her outstanding service. Always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need Ms. Randolph enjoyed sewing, gardening and reading. She cherished time spent with her family.
Survivors include a son Les Randolph (Amory), daughter-in-laws; Linda Randolph (Amory) and Linda Atkins (Ethesville, AL), sister, Avais Rollins (Amory), brother, Ray Williams (Jackson, TN), grandchildren; Chris Randolph, Kathy Eddy, David Randolph, Brad Randolph, Steve Randolph, and Nancy Patterson, 13 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ms. Randolph was preceded in death by her husband and parents, sons, Stanley and Mickey Randolph, sisters; Paulene Benefield, and Udel Green, brothers; Billy, Vernon, Andy, and Tom Williams, and a great grandson, Justin Randolph.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:30pm, Sunday, August 12, at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Elsberry and Pastor Terry Owings. Burial will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Chris, Brad, David, Steve, Tyler, and Hayden Randolph.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 11, from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
