Madeline Currence

Amory – Madeline Helen “Pat” Currence, 83, died on Monday, August 25, 2014, at Ruleville Nursing Home. Born on April 27, 1931, in Buckhannon, WV, she was a daughter of the late Robert Lewis Currence and Nellie Rowan Currence Riffle.

Growing up in Geneva, OH, Pat moved to Los Angeles and graduated from college. After serving in intelligence with the US Air Force for several years, she moved to Miami and worked as a real estate property manager. After retiring, she moved to Amory to live near her brother. Loved by most, Pat enjoyed Opera, arts & crafts, and growing flowers.

Survivors include her sisters, Evelyn Griffee, Daisy, GA; Wanda Berry, Pembroke, GA; sisters-in-law, Charlene Currence Bojrab, Bryon, OH; Bobbie Currence, Ashtabula, OH; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Lew & Dana Currence.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3 PM, Wednesday at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Sister Lael Niblick officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, N. Kingsville, OH.
