Greenwood Springs – Mable L. “Pete” Robuck, 83, died on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Gilmore Memorial RMC, Amory. Born on December 5, 1930 in Greenwood Springs, she was the daughter of the late Gladen and Era Mae Woods Lewis.
Mrs. Robuck was a graduate of Greenwood Springs High School. After attending Business College in Memphis, she moved to Racine, WI and lived there for 40 years until moving back home to care for her mom. While in Racine, Mrs. Robuck worked as a nurse’s aide, a waitress at the Spinning Wheel, and as a shipping and receiving supervisor at Dremel Manufacturing. Loyal, determined, and having a big heart, Mrs. Robuck enjoyed cooking, visiting with friends, fishing, going to the casinos, yard work, gardening, traveling, and was passionate about her cats and dogs. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sons, William Robuck (Carol), Racine, WI, and Timothy Robuck, Greenwood Springs; grandchildren, Scott Robuck, Jason Robuck, and Kathy Robuck; and great-grandchildren, Mariah, Joseph, Elijah, and Gabriel.
In addition to her parents, she was sadly preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cary Robuck, and a sister, Mavis McGill.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
