Aberdeen – Linder Renfro Coplin, 92, died on Thursday,January 6, 2011, at Gilmore Memorial RMC, Amory. Born on October 5, 1918 in Monroe County, she was a daughter of the late Art and Belle Williams Renfro.
She lived in Oklahoma, before returning to Monroe County where she lived the remainder of her life. She married George Solomon Coplin in 1939. Mrs. Coplin was a compassionate lady who loved to laugh. A homemaker, she loved to quilt, go out to eat and traveling. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Harvey Coplin (Judy) of Aberdeen; a daughter, Dora House (Buddy) of Aberdeen; 3 grandchildren, Harvey Lee Coplin, Jr., Tim Coplin and Stacey Buse; 3 great-grandchildren, Rebecca Coplin, Mark Buse and John Logan Buse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Coplin, on May 1, 2008; brothers, John Renfro, Nevil Renfro, James Ward Renfro, George Riley Renfro; great-great-grandchild, Abigail Buse.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 PM, Sunday at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory with Bro. Phil Benton and Bro Bubba Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Howell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roger Renfro, Daniel Renfro, Ann Williams, Pervy Williams, Billy Renfro, and Jacob Jones.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 5-8 pm and will continue until the service hour on Sunday.
