Booneville – Linden Ray “Harry” Pace, 58, died on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at his residence. Born on October 17, 1954, in Aberdeen, he was a son of the late Burley Ray and Margie Fay Vick Pace.
Harry attended Lamar County Schools. He was a self-employed painter and mechanic. His biggest hobby was fixing his son’s race car and painting it when needed. Quiet, yet funny and a good joke teller, Harry looked forward to being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed Country music, playing Bingo, and the slot machines at Tunica.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Pace, daughter, Michelle Pace, and sons, Tim and Stevie Pace, all of Booneville; sisters, Wanda Weaver, Booneville and Linda Norris (Danny), Aberdeen; brothers, Mark Pace (Sharri), Amory and Wendell Pace, Hamilton; grandchildren, Brittany Pace, Faith and Paige Butler, Savanna Sheppard, and Brandon Pace; great-grandchild, Caden Lee Ratliff; 8 nieces and 12 nephews; and special friends, Robbie Michael, Eddie Joe Hughes, Mike Posey, and Tim Harris.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, December 22 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Norris officiating. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Chris and Kyler Callahan, Randall Norris, Andrew James, Robert Weaver, and Chris Smith.
Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM, Friday at the funeral home.
