Amory – Linda K. Russell, 61, passed away on January 31, 2023, at her residence in Amory. She was born on May 1, 1961, in Aberdeen, MS to the late Dalton Wade Bruce and Vera Katherine House.

Linda “Kay” grew up in Monroe County in a family with two other siblings and she graduated from Aberdeen High School. She was a homemaker and was blessed during her lifetime with two loving husbands and three children. Linda K. Russell was a loving lady always putting others before herself. After her first husband Donny Stacy passed, she became friends with and eventually married Richard O. Russell on June 14, 2021.

Family meant the world to her and she enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Her family knows that she is no longer in pain and that she is at peace. She will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her. All the memories made will be cherished forever.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Russell, Amory; daughters, Kathy Miller, Red Bay, AL, Samantha Lamb, Nettleton; son, Andrew Russell, Smithville; brother, Jerry W. Bruce, Sr. (Teresa), Columbus; grandchildren, Conway Miller, Caroline Russell, John-Reed Lamb, Sawyer Lamb, and Brooks Lamb; nieces and nephews, Jerry Bruce Jr., Dustin Bruce, Jeff Clark and Sherry Monaghan (Phillip).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donny Crow Stacy and her sister, Cheryl Clark.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 3:00 pm at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory, MS with Bro. Jeff Martin officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home in Amory, MS on Friday, from 2:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.
