Laura Reece

Bentonville, AR – Laura Lorraine Little Reece, 92, died on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Bradford House Nursing and Rehab. Born on December 12, 1919, in Lamar, CO, she was a daughter of the late Laura Jane McVey and Jessie Ray Nelson, Sr.
Having lived in Northwest Arkansas, Mrs. Reece enjoyed many things in life. She retired as a supervisor with Great Southern Life Insurance Company. Possessing a strong faith in God and a hope of the resurrection, Mrs. Reece was a member of Amory Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, oil painting, sewing and Country and Western music.
A Committal Service will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, February 11 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Mr. Ronald Beaty officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Gladys Louise Powell (Richard), Humble, TX, and Margaret Beaty (Ronald), Bentonville, AR; son, David Burns Little, Austin, TX; grandchildren, Laurie Ramos, David Simpson, William Reeves, Richie Henson, Kenneth Beaty, Brian Beaty, Ronda Phillips, Travis Little, Jason Little, and Lana Rose Little; 13 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Brenda Kay Nelson, Andy Nelson, Melodie Allen, Mary Allen, and Dewey Alley, Jr.; and special friends, Alpha Mae Little, Darlene Fears, Cora Lee Rogers, Arch Justice, and Philip Hathcock.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Elbert Burns Little and Joseph T. Reece.
