Amory – Larry Wayne Outlaw, Sr, 73, died on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at his residence. A native of Aberdeen MS, he was born on June 19, 1937 to the late Jonas Quitman and Daisy Williams Outlaw.
Mr. Outlaw was a graduate of Aberdeen High School, Class of 1957. Larry married Beverley Miller February 21, 1959, who survives. He was a Frisco-Burlington Northern Railroad employee from December 5, 1957 until January 1, 1993, when he retired. Larry was a Methodist a member of St Andrews United Methodist Church. Bob Angle and Charles Pierce were two of his numerous friends that Larry enjoyed spending time with and enjoyed making them laugh at his jokes. After retiring, Larry drove cars for dealerships, watched NASCAR, loved working in his garden, playing golf and traveling.
He is survived by his wife Beverley Miller Outlaw of Amory; his son, Joel Outlaw of Amory; his daughters, Ellen Hester (Mike) of Nettleton and Allison Black (Jim) of Saltillo; his sisters, Barbara Cook (Wade) of Smithville, Sheron Parten (Charles) of Port Arthur TX; his brother, Lyndon ‘Peg’ Outlaw (Teenie) of Durham, NC; brother-in-laws, Dickie Miller (Gail) and Bo Miller both of Amory and David Miller of Gulfport; sister-in-laws, Patsy Robertson of Diamond Head MS and Catherine Outlaw of Aberdeen, Reveland Wheat of Brandon MS, Bobbye Brinson of Amory and Sarah Richardson (Bobby) of Morton MS; his grandchildren, Libby Grier (Matt), Pamela Lyda (Ryan ), Jordan and Brody Outlaw, Ryan and Jimmy Black, Jonathan Hester and Kayla Moore(Joseph); special nieces and nephews, Mary Margarete and Will Miller, Cooper Miller and Amy Pruitt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Outlaw; brothers, Joel , Milton and Merritt Outlaw; sister, Dorothy Bolding Pruitt.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 4pm, Friday, May 20, 2011 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro Wade Cook and Rev Rusty Keen officiating. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Howard, Gary, Vaughan, Kenneth and Jim Outlaw, Ken Cook, Joel Wright, Jim Wheat, Cooper Miller, L.P. Gaddis, Will Miller, and Edwin Bolding. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Wallace, Bob Angle, Charles Pierce, Lynn and Jim Dye, Frisco-BN Railroad retirees, employees of Legacy Hospice, and his driving buddies.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday, May 19, 5-8 pm and continue Friday, May 20 until time for the service to begin.
