Larry Bennett
Amory, Miss.—Larry Alvin Bennett, 56, died on Friday, May 3, 2013 at his home. Born April 2, 1957 in Monroe County he was the son of Charlie Bennett and Juanita Dean Huntley. A graduate of Amory High School, he was a construction worker. A caring man, he enjoyed helping others and he cherished his family. He lived for the Lord and was a member of Bigbee Baptist Church.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2013 at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Johnny Cherry and Bro. Stanley Blaylock officiating. Burial will be in the Pisgah Cemetery at Wren.
Survivors include his wife, Robbie Harrell Bennett of Amory; father, Charlie Bennett (Joan) of Nettleton; mother, Juanita Huntley of Amory; two daughters, April Bennett of Pearlington, MS and Meghan Harrell of Amory; two sons, Dillon Bennett of Wren and Jeremy Harrell of Amory; and two sisters, Melissa Wood (Duke) of Amory and Teresa Bolton (Ronnie) of Belmont.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Vicki Google; by grandparents, R.C. and Ozelle Dean and Hoyle and Rachel Bennett; and stepfather, E.H. Huntley.
Pallbearers will be Jessie Harrell, Sr., Steven Holley, Ashley Poss, Will Tallent, Don Moore, Tom Griggs, Ray Morris, and Bobby Ray Morris. Honorary pallbearers will be David Randolph, Danny Underwood, Norvelle Howell, Terry Hall, and Gary Holt.
Visitation will continue until service time on Monday.
