Greenwood Springs— Kimberley Rachelle Murray, 46, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Born on January 8, 1972, in Amory, she was the daughter of Bobby Joe and Linda Willis Towery.
Kimberley attended Smithville High School before starting her occupation in the garment industry. She was blessed with three sons whom she loved dearly. A woman of great faith, Kimberley attended Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. Kimberley was known for her big heart and her adoration for all four-legged animals. She cared for her family and enjoyed having cookouts with them. She was goofy, hardheaded, and strong, and she could easily talk to a friend or loved one for hours. In her free time, she enjoyed making jewelry and drawing. She also liked to attend yard sales and listen to country music, especially Martina McBride. Kimberley was best known, however, for her loving spirit. She will be missed dearly, but she leaves her family with a legacy of kindness and love and memories that will last forever.
Kimberley is survived by her parents, Bobby Joe and Mavis Towery; sons, Austin Towery, Amory, Jeremy Dodd, Bethlehem, Tyler Murray, Bethlehem; brothers, Keith Towery (Lisa), Smithville, Bruce Benton (Lori), Smithville; a grandchild on the way; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Tammy Smithey.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Willis.
A Funeral Service will be held for Kimberley at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church at 1 PM Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Bro. Robert Earl Fowlkes will be officiating the service. Pallbearers will include Bruce Benton, Jeremy Dodd, Tyler Murray, Austin Towery, Keith Towery, and Kamron Benton. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Monday night at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home in Smithville. She will also lie in state at the church from 12 PM until the service hour on Tuesday.
