Amory – Kenneth Wilson Coxey, 61, died on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at his residence. Born on January 3, 1951, in Tokyo, Japan, he was the son of the late Eugene Wilson and Fumiko Coxey.
Kenneth grew up and attended school in Dayton, TN. Moving to Amory in 1971, he farmed and retired from Bahaus Furniture Manufacturing, with over 20 years of service. He attended Bethel Apostolic Church. Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed assembling model cars, playing games, fishing, and motorcycle riding.
He is survived by a daughter, Charlene Holt (Joe) of Booneville; sons, Tony Coxey of Amory, Michael Coxey (Ashley) of Pontotoc, and Craig Coxey (Angie) of Smithville; grandchildren Laura, Amber, Joseph, and Audriana Holt; Elizabeth Pruitt, Ashley Morris; Justin, Michael, Brian, Abbi, and Cameron Coxey.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:30 PM, Sunday, December 2, at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Stanley Blaylock and Bro. Philip Blaylock officiating. Burial will follow in Fig Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dewey Oliver, Jeff Gosa, Sam Williams, Mickey McCullar, Billy McCullar and Jerry Helton.
Visitation will be from 5 - 8 PM, Saturday, December 1 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home.
