Amory – Keith “Peanut” Allen Tucker, 43, died on Friday, April 29, 2011, at his residence. Born on September 10, 1967, in Waukegan, IL, he was a son of Harold Junior Tucker and the late Annie Grey Lockhart Tucker.
Peanut attended Hatley and Sulligent Schools as well as Itawamba Community College. He worked for Comfort Engineering for 9 years and during his lifetime he worked over 20 years as a heating and air conditioning technician. Mr. Tucker was a Baptist who was outgoing, a peacemaker, and someone that always helped others. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, Alabama football, and spending time with his friends. His family was very important to him and he was a tenderhearted, hardworking, wonderful dad and provider. Peanut enjoyed listening to Rock n Roll music.
He is survived by his father Harold Tucker, Amory; son, Trevor Tucker, Pontotoc; daughters Haley Parker and Betsy Tucker, Nettleton, Angela M. Tucker, Florida; sisters Sandra Tucker, Georgia, Deb Swinson, Cordova, and Step Sister Jennifer Fondren, Amory; brothers Kenny Wayne (Lesia) Tucker, Manatachie, Step Brother Jeff Capps, Amory; grandchildren, Gavin Alexander Parker and Collin Andrew Patten, Nettleton; nieces, LeAnn Tucker; nephews, Eric Mejia, Michael Sanford, Jason Gordon, and Austin Imel; the mother of his children, Carol Parker Tucker, Pontotoc. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his fiancé’ Christina Harnage.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 PM, Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Brother Tim McMillan officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Carter, Danny Tipton, Tim Jaton, John Lockhart, John King, Trevor Tucker, Shane Bramlett, Brandon Patten, Michael Stanford, and Eric Mejia.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM, Monday, May 2, 2011 at the Funeral Home.
