Keith Rye

Clayton, North Carolina – Keith Albert Rye, 55, died on Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. Born on August 22, 1960, Keith was a son to the late James Allen and Wanda Lou Rye.

Keith attended school in Amory and enlisted into the Navy where he spent 15 years. After leaving the Navy, he started a very successful landscaping business in Kissimmee/St. Cloud, Florida, and then later sold it to take a distribution management position with Roma Foods. For the past eleven years, he was employed as a truck driver for Food Lion.
Keith was a man who walked with God and sought His direction in every aspect of life. His desire was always to honor God in how he lived and how he treated others.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Kenny and David Rye.

Survivors include his fiancée, Julie Alioto, Clayton, North Carolina; daughter, Loren Becker, Winter Park, FL; son, Landon Rye, Amory; brothers, Kevin Rye, Amory; Craig Rye, Fairview, MS; sister, Diane Zichlke Ray, McNeill, Texas; grandchild, Aiden Becker, Winter Park, FL.; Stepmother, Margaret Rye, Amory; two lifelong friends, Allen Hester (Angier) and Michael Edwards, Greenville, NC.

Services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 16, 2016, at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Justin Myers officiating. Burial will be in Haughton Memorial Park.
