Kayla “KK’ Buckner 27, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Born on July 2, 1990 in Amory, MS, she was the daughter of Tammy Seymore, Gregory Malone and the late Lacey Sue Buckner. Kayla attended Plain Dillion School in Shreveport, LA. She and Ashley Shane Rodriquez were blessed with one son, Damyen Adam Rodriguez.
Kayla enjoyed reading romance novels and adventures, loved to write, would work with any arts and crafts projects, and listen to all kinds of music. She also loved to dance. One of the world things that she liked was perfume.
Kayla was a people person and loved life to the fullest. She would spend time with her son and nephew, Rashaad playing all kinds of video games. Kayla had a sweet spirit and will be missed by all of her family and friends.
Kayla is survived by her best friend, Ashley Shane Rodriguez, Nettleton; son, Damyen Adam Rodiguez, Nettleton; fathers: Paul Buckner (Cecile), Smithville, Greg Malone, Richland; mother, Tammy Seymore, Nettleton; brothers, Richard Buckner (Hong), Shannon, Paul Buckner (Phoung), Amory, Adam Buckner, Amory; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service for Kayla “KK” Buckner will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 2, 2018 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory. Bro. Greg Malone and Bro. David Buckner officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne and Tracey Rhymes, Jacob Causey, Alex Ruff, Richard and Samson Buckner.
Visitation for Kayla Buckner will be from 12:00 1:50 P.M. on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the funeral home.
