Hatley- June Brasfield Fears Williams, 81, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at her residence. Born June 19, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Corrine Comer Brasfield.

Mrs. Williams grew up in and attended school in Smithville. She was a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ and was employed by Wilson Manufacturing, later retiring from Star Printing. A very loving and gentle Christian lady, she loved spending time with her family and was a friend to all. She enjoyed keeping up with her family, especially on Facebook, watching Atlanta Braves play ball, and traveling to the mountains.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Fears (Tommy), Parham Community; son, Joe Fears (Kim), Parham Community; step sons, Dana Williams, Atlanta, GA and Dennis Williams (Jill), Birmingham, AL; sisters, Betty Williams (Jack), Lane Johnson, Janice Lann (David), Deb Akola (Eric), Joy Ponds, and Pat Cowart (Paul); grandchildren, Tammy Minor (Lee), Tracy Cox (Michael), Misty Adams (Glenn), Kim Sellers (Joe), Alisha Rimmer (Jeff), Jeremy Fears, Zach Fears, Jon Paul Fears; great grandchildren, Eric Minor (Lyndsie), Emily Minor (Ben), Jacob Cox, Jillian Cox, Jolie Kate Cox, Riley Adams, Katie Winters, Kayla Pruitt, Madison Sellers, Jules Rimmer, and Dylan Rimmer; great great grandchildren, Cullen Minor, Lilly Grace Minor, and Easton Shields; a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Boyd Fears and Dudley Williams; brothers, Ruble and Joe Brasfield.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM Friday, April 26, 2013 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home with Marshall Eubanks, Jr. and Chase Surrell officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy, Zach, and Jon Paul Fears, Joe Sellers, Jeff Rimmer, Jacob Cox, Eric and Lee Minor, Glenn Adams and Ben Mattox. Honorary pallbearers will be Christy Brown, Christy Lann and the staff of Legacy Hospice.

Visitation will continue Friday morning until service time at 2 PM.

Donations may be given to Christian Chapel Youth Group, 60127 Vaughn Rd, Amory, MS 38821 or Le Bonheur Children’sHospital, 848 Adams Ave, Memphis, TN 38103.
