Amory – Judy L. Hogue, 65, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at her residence. Born on January 11, 1950, in Amory, she was a daughter of the late Ellis Ray and Cora Lee Brock Parker.
Judy attended school in Fulton. She married Billy Hogue on November 25, 1969. Together they had five children. She was a faithful member of the North River Pentecostal Church. Judy worked many years in the furniture industry as a seamstress. She enjoyed attending church, going to Gospel singings, shopping, and eating out to celebrate Birthdays. Being a seamstress, in her free time, she would sew for her family. Her family was the most important to her in her life. Her favorite music, which she loved to sing, was Gospel Music.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Hogue, Amory; daughters, Angela Rogers (Jeff), Amory, Pam White (Jimmy), Guntown, Trisha Brown (J.R.), Nettleton, Mary Jane Decker, Tupelo; son, Ricky Hogue, Amory; sisters, Linda Parker, Becker, Brenda Beam (Tommy), Amory, Barbara Kennedy (Doug), Becker, Martha Kennedy (Billy), Becker, Betty McNesse (Anthony), Smithville; brother, Jerry Parker (Sandra), Nettleton; 14 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Larry and James Parker; and granddaughter, Aubrey.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 7 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory with Bro. Doug Kennedy, Bro. Randy Kennedy, and Bro. Joseph Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery, Nettleton. Pallbearers will be David Parker, Paul Beam, Bobby Beam, Joseph Kennedy, Joseph Young, and Shane Childers.
Visitation will be from 5 - 8 PM, Thursday, at the funeral home.
