Judy Faye Dove, 71, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. Born on July 3, 1946 in Smithville, Mississippi, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Claude Pearson. Judy graduated from Hatley High School in 1966. She became a beautician and loved to visit with her customers. She grew up in the Hatley Primitive Baptist and was a very active member. She married the love of her life, Carl on May 1, 1976.
Judy was a very loving lady who never met a stranger. She along with her husband and daughter loved to travel. One of her favorite places to visit was the Smoky Mountains. If you asked her what was most important to her, she would say to spend quality time with her family.
During free time, Judy liked to sew, cross stitch, draw and listen to Gospel music. Judy’s love of people will be a legacy that she leaves to her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers: W.C., Lee Roy, Billy Gene, Herman, and Steve Pearson; sisters: Jewel Howell, Mary Ann Cantrell, and Frances Isbell.
Survivors are her husband, Carl; daughter, Tracy Dove, Amory; Sisters, Peggy Head and Glenda Smith; brother, Dennis Pearson and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service for Judy Dove will held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, October 27, 2017 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory, Mississippi. Bro. Tim Cunningham and Bro. Bobby Howell will be officiating. Burial will be in Hatley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Timothy, Lloyd, Van and Anthony Pearson, Bobby Stanford and David Pickle. Boyd Pearson will be an honorary pallbearer.
Visitation for Mrs. Dove will be from 9:00 – 10:50 A.M., on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the funeral home.
