John Anthony "Tony" Jones

John Anthony “Tony” Jones, 64, of Seymour, TN and formerly of Amory, MS, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. He was a member of Antioch Methodist Church of Hatley. Tony worked in furniture plants in MS then moved to the Smokies. He worked in TN for Neff Mobile Homes Service. Tony loved God, his family, his dog, Angus, classic rock, and riding his motorcycle. He never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Greely Jones.

Tony is survived by his wife, Diana Jones; son, Zack Jones (Cindy Johnson); daughters, Candy Wilson and Maria Smith; grandchildren, Dixie Lee King, Makayla Harris, Garrett Wilson; Tristan Hendrix, Addison Jones, and Jennifer West; mother, Eva Grace Pullen Monaghan; sisters, Mary Beth Kent and Amy Lemiey; nephews, Randy Gray, Derek Gray, and John Southard; nieces, Laura Bloodworth, Jessica Stolzman, and Harley Kent; best friends, Les Turman, Andy Farrar, and Dana Leigh Riddle; and a host of extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2 PM to 4 PM Saturday, March 1st at Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour, TN. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com. 

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Hatley Cemetery in Hatley, MS. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 1:00 PM at EE Pickle Funeral Home in Amory, MS.
