Tupelo— Joey Dale Beam, 53, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018, at NMMC in Tupelo. He was born in Red Bay, AL on July 21, 1965 to the late Joey Lynard and Linda Marcel Beam.
Joey was of the Baptist faith. A brick-layer for over 30 years, he spent much of his career working with McMillan Masonry. Joey liked working outside and with his hands. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, listening to classic country music, and watching Westerns. Additionally, Joey was an avid NFL fan. Above all, Joey loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Joey is survived by his sisters, Kay Beam (Steven), Lisa Sinningson; nephew, Joshua Guinn; niece, Amanda Sinningson (Eric); and lifelong girlfriend, Deborah Owens.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Bryan Sinningson.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3PM, Thursday, November 29, 2018 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Guinn, Jeff Pearson, Ira Earnhart, Zach Pearson, Jimmy Pearson, and Shaun Pitts.
Visitation will be from 2 PM until the service hour.
