Jimmy Dale Pearson

Jackson – Jimmy Dale Pearson, 58, formally of Amory, passed away on March 1, 2017 in Jackson, Mississippi. Born on May 29, 1958, in Chickasaw County, he was a son of the late Lester Pearson and Annie Sue Strawhorn Adams.

Jimmy, known as a shade tree mechanic, loved to work on any type of car. He was friendly, outgoing and loved to collect gumball machines. Many here in Monroe County considered him a great friend. He enjoyed listening to classic rock music. He was a rogue of a man.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Mike Pearson.

Jimmy is survived by his children:, Jimmy Dale Pearson, Jr., Christopher Daniel Edwards, Daniel Dale Adams and Anna Sue Pearson; grandchildren, Whitney Pearson, Fabian, Malachi Pearson, Christopher, Hayden, Lucas, Jolin, Delaney Edwards, numerous other grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Rawson, Cathy Pearson, Mary Walters, Lois Ann Vanderwoude.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 11, 2017 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home. Bro. Thomas McInerney will be officiating.

Visitation for Mr. Pearson will be on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. – 12:50 P.M.
