Jimmy Dale Boozer
Amory – Jimmy Dale Boozer was born on July 5, 1938, on the highest hill, in the Splunge Community, to the best of parents, Kenneth and Madie Boozer. He died on August 12, 2021 with his family beside him.
He and his brothers, Jerry and Jacky, received a quality education from their instructions in mechanics, farming, and how to be great men in their community.
He married the love of his life, Gayle Sullivan and together they raised three children, Kenney Boozer, Gattman, MS, Jennifer Pitts (Rodney), Hatley, MS, and Maggie Boozer, Tualitin, OR.
Jimmy lived his life to the fullest. He loved the Lord, his Church, and his family. After working forty years and retiring from True Temper Sports in Amory, MS, he began his true passion, woodworking. During this time, he built several quality wood pieces and furniture for his children, grandchildren, and his home. His other hobbies included geneology, reading his Bible, going to Church, and spending time with family and friends.
They share eleven grandchildren, Jesse, Jimme Lee, Rodney Jr., Sofie, Marisa, J.T. Kayden, Olivia, Tuby, Gracie, and Kaleo; one great-grandchild, Donny.
