Amory - Jewerldean Pavlick Campbell, 90, died on Friday, February 4, 2011, at her residence. Born on August 20, 1920, in Lake City, AR, she was a daughter of the late John and Ida Adams Jacobs.
Mrs. Campbell attended schools in Arkansas and moved to Becker in 1955 from Detroit, MI. During WW II, she worked in the airplane factories. Mrs. Campbell worked as a seamstress for Pullman Couch and retired from Futorian in Okolona. Before joining Unity Baptist Church, she attended Becker Baptist Church for 35 years where she taught Sunday school and kept the nursery. She was always doing for her family and others, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandson, who were a very important part of her life. Mrs. Campbell enjoyed listening to choir practice, watching Andy Griffith, gardening, canning, crocheting, embroidering and loved flowers. Always having an open door, she cherished visiting and talking with people when they came by to visit.
She is survived by her daughters, Joeann (Ken) Vaughn and Willistene (Earnest) Mitchell, Amory; granddaughter, Ramona (Toby) Stanford, Crystal River, FL; great-grandchildren, Joshua (Casey) Stanford, Thomasville, GA, Kari (Bryan) Cravens and Rebecca Stanford, Crystal River, FL; great-great-grandson, Andrew Stanford, Thomasville, GA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Pavlick in 1995 and Otho Campbell in 2004; two sisters; and five brothers.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM, Monday, at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family members.
