Lou Booth
Wren--Jewel Josephine "Lou" Randle Booth, 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Born April 26, 1928 she was the daughter of Paul Smith Randle and Ruby Brewer Randle. Lou attended Wren Schools where she excelled in basketball, graduating in 1947. She met the love of her life, Roy Booth, working at one of her first jobs in the cutting room of Reed's Manufacturing in Nettleton. They were married on April 11, 1951, the same day her parents were married, and celebrated 50 years together in 2001. She was active in her home community in the Wren Library Club, she enjoyed working out with her friends at Curves in Amory, spent many hours working in her yard and garden, and her suitcase was packed for travel at any opportunity.
