Smithville – Jessica Leigh Pace, 18, died on Thursday, April 27, 2011 as a result from the tornado in Smithville. Born on August 6, 1992 in Amory, she was a daughter of Michael Leigh Harris and Trina Kay Pace Bishop.
Jessica attended Itawamba Agriculture High School in Fulton. Very loyal, outgoing, open minded, speaking her mind, Jessica enjoyed life to its fullest. She was a homemaker who loved children and animals, especially her dog “Squirt Boys”. Country music was her favorite type of music and her favorite song was “Strawberry Wine.” Jessica enjoyed riding motorcycles, four wheelers, going to the river, hunting and fishing.
She is survived by her father, Michael Lee Harris of Vardaman; her mother, Trina Pace Bishop of Fulton; fiance’, Marc Palmer of Smithville; brothers, Jamie Pace and Joshua Pace both of Fulton; step-sisters, Dixie Lee Harris and Makala Harris both of Vardaman; grandparents, Donna & Andy Pace of Fulton, Shirley Harris of Vardaman; aunts and uncles, Steve Pace (Sunny) of Becker, Tony Pace (Sondra) of Pontotoc and Chrissy Halterman of Odon, IL; cousins, Nick and Donovan Turner, Jaylee Pace, Nathan and Austin Halterman, and Austin and Ashley Harris. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Loraine Dale.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5 PM, Saturday, April 30, 2011 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro Robert Earl Fowlkes officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until time for the service to begin.
Pallbearers will be John Moreland, Max Rafter, Steve Pace, Jake Russell, David Greenhill, Matt and Jason Palmer.
