Jerry W. “Buffalo” Blair
Caledonia – Jerry W, “Buffalo” Blair, 60, became totally healed and had a sweet reunion in Heaven with his family on March 10, 2024. He was born on August 27,1963 in Aberdeen, Mississippi to the late Thomas Alton Blair and Betty Lois (Foster) Blair.
Jerry grew up in Monroe County and attended Hatley High School. He was a hard worker and a good provider for his family. He was employed as a fabric cutter for Penthouse and Peoploungers as well as being on the road maintenance crew for Monroe County.
He was a Christian and a member of Living Waters Church in the Priestville Community. In his downtime he enjoyed fishing, playing his guitars and listening to rock music. He was most proud of his family and loved spending time with his grandbabies. He was a loyal friend and would do anything for friends and family and pretty much anyone else in need. He made many good memories with his best friends, Bobby Brewer and his brothers Greely and David.
Jerry will be missed so much by his family and friends. The memories made through the years will be treasured for their lifetimes.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Bridget Reed, Priestville Community; sons, Brandon Blair (Amanda) Amory, Dallas Blair, Priestville Community; grandchildren, Megan, Brooklyn, Levi, Billy, Reagan, Brenen, & Remington; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Mattox & Jaxon; brothers, David Alton (Carol) Heber City, Utah, Thomas Greely, Gattman, MS; a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer Lynn Blair.
A celebration of life Service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at EE Pickle Funeral Home Chapel, Burial will follow at Lockhart Cemetery, on Priestville Road, in Gattman, MS.
Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the service hour.
