Jerry Mccollum

Jerry Lloyd McCollum, 74, passed away at his residence in Wren on July 15, 2022. Born on October 19, 1947, he was the son of the late Stanley McCollum and the late Ophalia Faulkner Richardson (Sam). Jerry was a 1966 graduate of Hatley High School and was a member of Grace Fellowship Baptist Church. He was a retired, self-employed carpenter who took pride in being creative and detailed-oriented in his work.

Jerry was a proud father of five children and loved to brag on their many accomplishments in life. In his spare time, he liked to go fishing and playing his guitar. He also loved to listen to classic country music as well as Southern Gospel music. His children and grandchildren will remember him by his joy of laughter and his deep love for each of them.

He is survived by his three daughters: Pam Sanders (Scott), Gallatin, TN; Stacey Jill Neal (Jimmy), Greenwood Springs and Angie Stevens (Brad), Smithville; his two sons: David Ray McCollum (Camille), Talbott, TN; Todd McCollum, Greenwood Springs; 15 Grandchildren; 11 Great- Grandchildren; and a close and loving sister, Gloria Andrews, Wren along with niece and nephews.

Visitation with the family of Jerry McCollum will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Jerry McCollum have been set to begin at 1:00 PM. Bro. Danny Burks will be officiating the memorial service. Pallbearers will be Chris Monaghan, Brandon Worthey, Beau Stevens, Brycen Sanders and Blaine Sanders. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park in Amory.
