Jerry Wayne Edwards

Mr. Jerry Wayne Edwards, 60, passed away on June 28, 2018 at the Vineyard Court Nursing Home in Columbus. Born on February 22, 1958, in Aberdeen, he was a son of the late K.G. Edwards and Lucille Pace Edwards. He attended Caledonia schools.

Jerry loved to spend time outdoors. He was an avid fisherman who loved to catch catfish. Jerry also enjoyed hunting and farming.
Jerry’s family loved when he invited them to come and eat. He loved to cook all types of food and enjoyed sharing with everyone. He treasured the times he could carry candy and fruit to his nieces and nephews. Jerry will be missed by all that knew him. They will miss his loving smile and outgoing personality.

Jerry Edwards is survived by his sisters: Mary Joyce Harcrow (Barney), Reform, Alabama, Judy Edwards, Pontotoc, MS; brothers: Johnny Edwards (Dola), Vernon, AL and James David Edwards (Barbara), Vernon, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Carolyn Willhite.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Dale Edward

A celebration of life service for Jerry Edwards will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 2, 2018 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory. Bro. James Godsey will be officiating. Burial will follow in Sullivan Cemetery in the Bartahatchie community. Pallbearers will be his family and friends.

Visitation for Jerry Edwards will be from 12:30-1:50 PM on Monday prior to his service.
