Janet Gaines

Mooreville – Janet Gaines Bone, 57, died on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Sanctuary Hospice House, Tupelo. Born on December 16, 1957, in Amory, she was the daughter of James Gaines and the late Ruth Riley Gaines.

As a youth, she attended Amory schools. Ms. Bone worked in the Restaurant Industry and served the public as a waitress for 25 years. She was a Baptist and loved her kids and grand kids. She enjoyed eating out at various restaurants, dancing, and listening to rock and roll music.

Survivors include her daughter, Misty Murphy, Fulton; son, Michael White (Cindy), Tupelo; father, James Gaines, Tupelo; grandchildren, Abbigayle and Madison White, Tupelo.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Edwin and Gary Gaines.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, April, 4, 2015, at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory, with Bro. Waylon Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery, Itawamba County. Pallbearers will be John Maldwin, Billy Williams, Dennis Benson, and Glenn Gaines.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM – 10:50 AM, on Saturday, April 4, 2015.
