Becker – Jamey Lee Dodd, 47, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at North MS Medical Center, Tupelo. Born on August 18, 1967, in Berrien Springs, he was a son of Clayton and Mary Easter.

Jamey attended school in Berrien Springs. Moving to Aberdeen in 1985, he was a heavy equipment operator with Target Construction. He married Donna Mabry on July 19, 2008. Jamey was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. A dedicated family man, spending time with his kids was most important to him. Having a sweet, loving spirit, a big heart, and willing to help anyone, Jamey enjoyed camping, fishing, and being outdoors with his family as well as all types of music.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Dodd, Becker; parents, Clayton and Mary Easter, Aberdeen; daughters, Kelly Dodd, Southaven and Sueann Stroud, Berrien Springs, MI; son, Kevin Dodd, Southaven; sisters, Janet Easter (Chris), Hatley, Cassandra Tedford (Jason), Hatley, and Dejuana Wallace (Jimmy), Guin, AL; brother, Clayton Easter (Tonya), Gulfport; grandmother, Willie Mae Dunn, Berrien Springs, MI; nieces & nephews, Evan Easter, Ashley Welch, Austin Easter, Eric Tedford, Rylee Tedford, Madison Welch, Mollie Kate Welch, Katie West, April West, and Aiden West.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Dodd; grandparents, Charlie and Annie Kate Easter; and grandfather, Charlie Dunn.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
