James Mike Roberts

Amory - Mike Roberts, 69, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024 at North MS Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo, MS. He was born November 19, 1955 in Van Nuys, CA.  Mike joined the US Army in August 1973. After leaving the military, he worked as an Auto Body and Paint technician at BJ Ford and Larry Clark until he retired. 

Mike enjoyed watching sports and his favorite team was UCLA. He held a black belt in karate and loved singing in church. He was a Baptist in faith.

Mike is survived by his wife of 47 Patricia Ann Hall Roberts; one son, Jimmy Roberts, Amory, MS; one sister, Carmen TreJo (Zaez), Amory, MS; and three brothers, Joseph Taggart (Kendra), Jackson, TN, Mark Roberts, Aberdeen, MS, Kenney Roberts (Sandra), Hamilton, MS.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Roberts; mother, Jonell Sullivan Taggart; step-father, Chuck Taggart; and grandparents, Milton and Millie Roberts and Denton and Annie Mae Sullivan. 

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at Young Memorial Garden in Smithville, MS with Bro. Dennis Smithey officiating.
