James Wayne Reese

Smithville - James Wayne Reese, 51, died on Friday, August 23, 2013 in Monroe County as the result of an automobile accident. Born September 14, 1961, he was the son of Sanda Kay Homer Reese and the late Wayne Washington Reese.

He attended Smithville schools and worked as a supervisor for FFM in Amory. He enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, and gambling.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Dean Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Young Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include special friend, Cynthia Ford of Smithville; his mother, Sanda Kay Reese of Smithville; one daughter, Jessica Lynn Reese of Hatley; one son, James Glenn Reese of Hatley; one sister, Anna Maurine Brown of Greenwood Springs; and one grandson, James Daniel Reese.

He was preceded in death by his father; and by his wife, Nona Reese.

Pallbearers will be Derrick Brown, Allen Coker, Greg Coker, A.J. Murphy, Travis Dulaney, Donald Thompson, and Chris Gray.

Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. on Monday evening and will continue until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
