James Kennedy
Wren—James Edward Kennedy, 65, died on Friday, November 15, 2013 at his home. Born March 9, 1948 in Nettleton he was a son of London Calvin and Pearlie Lee Sullivan Kennedy. He attended Nettleton Schools and worked in landscape design for many years. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 18, 2013 at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Larry Monaghan officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Kristie Long (Tony) of Weaverville, NC; two sons, Brian Kennedy and Alan Kennedy (Sina) both of Boiling Springs, SC; two sisters, Retha Hunt of Wren and Kathryn Stanphill of Becker; and 6 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers; and one sister.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Seger, Seven Ramirez, Erick Sandlin, Zack McKay, Jacob Sappa, and Calvin Steele.
Visitation will continue until service time on Monday.
