Faye Cook
Nettleton, Miss.—Ina Faye Miller Cook, 68, died on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Born October 28, 1944 she was a daughter of the late Robert and Gatha Faye Brown Miller. She married Rubel Cook in 1962. A woman of faith, she was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church and she enjoyed gardening, flowers, quilting, crafts and collecting roosters. Before her retirement, she worked as a seamstress at Peoplelounger.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Tommy Whaley officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Ruble Cook of Nettleton; one daughter, Suzanne Cook Hester (Larry) of Nettleton; 2 sons, Robert Cook (Stephanie) of Nettleton and James Cook (April) of Nettleton; two sisters, Bernice Miller Jones of Amory and Heloise Miller Perkins of Batesville; one brother, George Miller of Pearl; 6 grandchildren, Stacy Presley (Delane), D.J. McCormick, Cade Cook, Garrett Cook, Carley Cook and Gracie Cook; and 3 great grandchildren, Drake Pridmore, Lynnleigh Lane Presley, and Adrianna Cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, Carl, Billy, Boyce, and Carlton Miller; and one sister, Shirley Miller Pounders.
Pallbearers will be Cade Cook, D.J. McCormick, Garrett Cook, Murlis Underwood, Donald W. Young, Andy Underwood, and Lance Payne.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
