Born on April 11, 1964, in Greenwood Springs, she was a daughter of Lela Mae Scott Holland and the late William Kenneth Cowart.Hope was happiest being outdoors. After having worked several years as an LPN at Gilmore Memorial Hospital, she went back to school to get her RN degree and worked at River Place Nursing Care until becoming disabled. Nursing and caring for people were her passion. Having attended New Hope Church of Christ, Hope attended Greenwood Springs United Methodist Church. Spending time with her family and friends were cherished. Hope enjoyed working with beaded jewelry, collecting rocks and bottles, riding four-wheelers and motorcycles and fishing. She is survived by her mother, Lela (Bill) Holland, Smithville; daughter, Lela Elizabeth (Dallas) Clements, Greenwood Springs; son, Christopher Little, Brattleboro, VT; sister, Iva Nell (James) Whitlock, Greenwood Springs; brother, Joe Cowart (Mary Ruth) Amory; two nieces and three nephews; and special friends, Terrie Duncan, Amory, Kristy Duncan, Detroit, AL, and Susan Groves, Hamilton, AL. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents.A Graveside Service will be held at Noon, Sunday in Blaylock Cemetery with Mr. David Highland officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeff Phillips, Jerry Jones, Chuck Flippo and James Whitlock.Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery at 11:50 AM, Sunday.Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at eepicklefuneralhome.com.
