Amory, Miss.—Hermine Estelle Wiygul Burnette, 97, died on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical in Amory. Born January 2, 1916 in Itawamba County she was a daughter of John and Effie Wallace Wiygul. She married James Lloyd Burnette and before her retirement, she worked as a seamstress in the garment plants. She enjoyed flower gardening.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the Haughton Memorial Park in Amory with Craig Ford officiating. E.E. Pickle Funeral Home of Amory is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, James Patrick Burnette of Amory and Jerry Ford (Carolyn) of Amory; two brothers, Tommy Wiygul of Amory and Wiley Wiygul of Fulton; 3 grandchildren, Craig Ford, Brandy Burnette, and Beth Burnette Long; two great grandchildren, Gracie Long and Audrey Long.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a grandson, Allen Ford.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
