Wren – Herman Wicks Pearson, 77, died peacefully, surrounded by his family on October 30, 2014, at North Mississippi Hospice. Born in Monroe County on April 28, 1937, he was the son of the late Carl and Claude Kyle Pearson.
He was a graduate of Hatley High School, class of 1958. He was retired carpenter and cabinet maker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Pearson of Wren; two sons, Tim Pearson of Wren, Jeff Pearson (Nikki) of Amory; two grandsons, Josh Pearson, Seth King; two granddaughters, Jessica Pearson Edwards (Keith), Sydney Pearson; two brothers, Dennis Pearson (Pat) of Hatley, Billy Pearson (Bonita) of Hatley; three sisters, Peggy Head (Billy) of Aberdeen, Glenda Smith (Greg) of Westminster, S.C., Judy Dove (Carl) of Hatley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters; Mary Cantrell, Jewel Howell, and Earnestine Roberts; brothers, W.C. Pearson, Leroy Pearson, and Steve Pearson.
Graveside Services will be at Wren Cemetery, at 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 2, 2014, with Minister Adam Pearson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Boyd Pearson, Loyd Pearson, David Pickle, Van Pearson, Josh Pearson, Seth King, Malcolm Walls, Sam Walls, and Travis Walls.
Visitation will be from 1 – 2:30 PM, Sunday at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home. Everyone is asked to meet at 2:40 PM, at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
