Helen Parham

Helen Williams Parham, born on December 7, 1933, left this earthly world for eternal life with Jesus on February 22, 2020. Helen was the daughter of Woodrow and Ruby Green Williams, and the oldest of nine children. She married Price (Hank) Parham on Christmas Day in 1951 and together they raised two daughters, Debbi and Pam.

Helen was an amazing homemaker and loving mother and nana who always put God and family first. She retired from General Motors in Kalamazoo, MI after 20 years of service.

She will be dearly missed and leaves behind a legacy of strong women: Debbi (David) Harris, Mobile, AL, Pam (Brett) Hurley, Augusta , MI; granddaughters, Lauren (Fabricio) Hurley, Chicago, IL, Kelsey Harris, Mobile, AL, and great-granddaughters, McKinley and Bryleigh Harris. Surviving siblings include RL (Shelby) Williams, Jimmy (Phyllis) Williams, Teddy Williams, Judy (Bo) Stevens, Kath (Luke Harris), and sisters-in-law, Katie Williams, JoAnn Williams, Ruby Nell Parham and Betty Parham Miller, most residing in the Amory, MS area.

An intimate service and celebration of Helen’s life will be held in Amory on Thursday, February 27.
