– Gregory “Greg” Wade Tindoll, Sr., 50, died on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at his residence. Born on June 1, 1960, in Kosciusko, he was a son of the late Norman Edward Tindoll, Sr., and Lida Faye Belk Tindoll.Greg was a graduate of Clarksdale High School and attended Coahoma Junior College. For thirty-four years, he had been employed with Kroger and working in the Tupelo stores last 25 years. Greg was a member of Meadowood Baptist Church. He was an Eagle Scout. Humorous and talkative, he never met a stranger. A good husband and father, Greg cherished time spent with his family. Hardworking and a provider, he was passionate about Sav-A-Life of Monroe County. Greg enjoyed sitting and talking with people, Gospel and Country music, playing chess, and watching the History Channel, the News Channels and sports on television.He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Sandra K. Tubb Tindoll, Hatley; daughter, BreAnna Kaye Tindoll of the home; sons, Kevin Bradley Tindoll of the home, SSG Gregory W. (Lisa) Tindoll, Jr., US Army, Killeen, TX, Eric Gentry (Tonya) Tindoll, New Site and Robert Carroll (Alesia) Tindoll, Everett, WA; sister, LaDonna Stelly, Beaumont, TX; brothers, Chris (Renee) Tindoll, Heber Springs, AR, and Eddie (Leanna) Tindoll, Conway, AR; grandchildren, Colton and Cameron Tindoll, Haley, Taylor and Kevin William Tindoll, and Kaylee Brooke Hall; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, James (Alicia) Hall, Brandon and Nathan (Ellen) Ratliff, Amory. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Michael Tindoll; father-in-law, Ivy C. Tubb; and sisters, Selena Sargent and Leslie Tindoll.A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 AM, Saturday at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory with Dr. Lloyd Sweatt officiating. A private family burial will be held in Hatley Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers will be Trey Tindoll, Michael Wofford, Nathan Ratliff, Phillip Tackett, Jeff Avery, and Alex and Nick Comer. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Kroger.Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM, Friday at the funeral home.For those who prefer in lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Sav-A-Life, P. O.
