Grace Soden

Amory - Grace J. Soden, 95, died on Friday, October 14, 2011, at her residence. Born on February 20, 1916, in Tuckerman, AR, she was a daughter of the late George and Minnie Alice Newcomb Jacob.
Having a life that was guided by her faith in her Lord and Savior, Mrs. Soden was a member of Nettleton Pentecostal Church. A homemaker, her life was surrounded by her family. Always smiling when with her family, Mrs. Soden was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed Gospel music, flower gardening, embroidery, and crocheting.
She is survived by her daughters, Levena S. Foster (William D.), Amory, and Elizabeth Anne S. Ritter (Everette), Aberdeen; sons, Carlton Soden, Mantachie, and Roy Soden, Amory; brother, George Anderson “G. A.” Jacob, Tuckerman, AR; a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Charles Soden, and sons, Henry and Levurn Soden.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM, Monday, October 17 at Nettleton Pentecostal Church with Bro. Larry Davis and Bro. Coy Hill officiating. Burial will be in Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Cory Spradling, Michael Soden, Austin Brown, Bobby Joe Soden, Eric and Jordan Wigington, Josh Head, and Chase Parker.
Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM, Sunday, and Noon until the service hour, Monday, at the church.
