Geraldine Gray
Amory—Geraldine Thompson Gray, 80, died on Friday, November 29, 2013 at her home. Born January 24, 1933 in Hamilton, she was a daughter of Wade Hampton and Hattie Odessa Dye Thompson. She attended Becker schools and married William T. Gray. Before her retirement, she worked in the shipping department for Block Corp. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and she enjoyed flower gardening and listening to gospel music especially the Master’s Quartet.
A celebration of Life service will be 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Mike Todd officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, William T. Gray of Amory; 3 daughters, Judy Edwards (Jimmy) of Hatley, Beverly Wigginton (Randall) of Smithville, and Lisa Owings (Ronnie) of Aberdeen; 7 grandchildren, Jill Johnson, Chris Edwards, David Wigginton, Heather Sartin, Jason Edwards, Allison Langford, and Corey Fines; 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Rex Thompson and Raymond Thompson; and a grandson, Adam Wigginton.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
