Amory - Gary Max Bunn, 76, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Tupelo Nursing and Rehab. He was born on September 5, 1938, in Randolph County, AL.
A Randolph County native, Mr. Bunn was born on September 5, 1938, the son of Theodore and Cludia Sailors Bunn. He was a United States Air Force veteran and was a retired computer programmer for Lockheed.
Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Bunn of San Jose, CA; two sisters, Barbara Blake of Nettleton, MS, and Carol Bunn of Alabaster; and three brothers, Joel Bunn, Roy Bunn, and Dwight Bunn, all of Wedowee.
Mr. Bunn was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Betty Frances Bunn; and one brother, Arthur Bunn.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Pink Bunn officiating. Burial will follow at Clay County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mr. Bunn’s nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2015.
The family is accepting flowers or, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one’s favorite charity or to the American Diabetes Association.
