Born on November 13, 1951, in Birmingham, AL, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Virgil and Hazel Ruth Blair.Spending her childhood in Birmingham, Mrs. Gray moved to Amory when marrying Thomas Glenn Gray. She worked as a seamstress with Amory Garment for 20 years before retiring due to health reasons. Mrs. Gray enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and working puzzle books. She cherished her time spent with her family and her dog, Amber.She is survived by her husband of 41years, Thomas G. “Shelb” Gray, Amory; sons, Thomas Norman “Peanut” (Eva Ann) Gray, Okolona, Thomas Allen “Buster” (Dawn) Gray, Amory, Ronnie Glenn (Tina) Gray, Verona, Shelby Dwayne (Elizabeth) Gray, Amory and Glenn Allen “Tiny” Gray and his girlfriend, Mary, Amory; 24 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; sisters, Joyce (Pierce) Roberts, Dorsey and Linda Stidham, Markone, MO; brothers, Tony (Donna) Blair, Pinson, AL, and Larry Blair, Tennessee; mother-in-law, Lorene Gray, Nettleton; 3 brothers-in-law, 4 sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and a special friend, Anne Potts, Columbus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Johnnie Glenn Gray, her father-in-law, grandparents, sister-in-law and brother.A Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM, Monday at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Fowlkes and Mr. Philip Hathcock officiating. Burial will follow in New Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Ray Gray, Daniel Dwayne Gray, Thomas Benjamin Gray, Anthony Glenn Gray, James Brigham, Roy Hathcock and Justin and Tyler Gray.
