Amory – Fred Zeinner, 66, died on Monday, September 10, 2012, at his residence. Born on December 21, 1945, in Cincinnati, OH, he was a son of the late Frederick and Jeanette Daniels Zeinner.
Fred attended Goshen, OH, High School. He was a US Navy veteran, honorably serving his Country from 1963 – 1966, during Vietnam. After service, Fred graduated from Abilene Christian University, Abilene, TX, and from the University of Houston, Houston, TX. Thoroughly enjoying his work, he was a mechanical engineer in the petro-chemical field most of his life. With faith guiding his life after professing "Jesus is my Lord," Fred was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. Passionate about brain cancer awareness, he would assist others with cancer. A 32nd degree Mason, Fred was a member of the Smithville Masonic Lodge #548. Loving country living, he enjoyed boating, working in his shop, and fishing. Having a passion for music, Fred listened to Bluegrass, Jimmy Buffett, and Cajun music.
He is survived by his wife, Beverley Pound Zeinner, Amory; daughter, Alana Zeinner; son, Joseph Zeinner (Amy); sisters, Joann Corwin (Ronny) and Pat MacClanahan (Mac); brother, William Zeinner (Lupé); grandchildren, Erik Zeinner; special nephew, Mike Williamson; many beloved nieces and nephews; and special friend, Jerry Irvin.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, September 13 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Coggins officiating. Military Honors and Masonic Rites will be bestowed during the service. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Irvin, Mike Williamson, Terry Hall, and Tom Crook.
Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.
